Michaela Morris |Consultant-in-Training | is a Mental Performance Consultant-Candidate and a Graduate of the University of Denver's Master of Arts Program in Sport and Performance Psychology. She has had the privilege of working with performers on both an individual and team level. So far, her clients have ranged widely, from high performance club and collegiate level athletes, to masters level triathletes, to recreational gymnasts. She enjoys supporting clients with a variety of backgrounds and goals, because what they all have in common is the potential to enhance their craft through their mind.
As an athlete, coach, and consulting candidate she has seen the value mental performance can have on a performer. Michaela believes, mental performance training is just as valuable as physical training. For instance, just as a swimmer can utilize an equipment bag to hone in on their physical technique, a swimmer can utilize mental performance tools to hone in on their mindset; the two work in tandem to support performance excellence. Her hope for your time together would be to create a clear and helpful progression of skills and principles for you both to work through flexibly, collaboratively, and holistically to get you and / or your team to your full potential.
